Patents and other proprietary rights are important to the success of LiPlasome Pharma and much effort is allocated to ensure the best possible protection of the company’s technology platform.

The first patent applications for the novel tumor activated technology were filed in Europe and the US in the spring of 2000 followed by additional patent applications covering the antiparasitic, diagnostic, and dermal areas.

We are continuously preparing new patent applications protecting novel and broad aspects of the targeted drug delivery technology to diseased regions characterized by elevated levels of phospholipase A2.
